Puerto Rico Islanders top Toronto FC 1-0 – Video Highlights
Toronto FC lost their first match in the CONCACAF Champions League as Puerto Rico Islanders won 1-0. The goal was scored by striker Kendall Jagdeosingh in the 2nd half. TFC had many of the scoring chances throughout the match but couldn’t convert as Islander goalkeeper Bill Guadette made key saves. The second leg will be at Puerto Rico on August 4th.
San Francisco FC beats San Juan Jabloteh 2-0 – Video Highlights
San Francisco FC scored early and were able to keep a clean sheet as they won 2-0 on Wednesday. The goals were from Carlos Vilarete in the 5th minute (penalty kick) and Temistocles Perez scoring in the 83rd minute. The second leg will be on August 6th.
Liberia Mia tops Real CD Espana 3-0 – Video Highlights
Alejandro Alpizar scored two goals as Liberia Mia won 3-0 against Real CD Espana on Wednesday. Liberia took a first half lead on a penalty converted from Michael Umana in the 32nd minute as the score as 1-0 at halftime. The 2nd half remained 1-0 until Alpizar scored goals in the 76th and 89th minute. The second leg will be August 6th.
