Arsenal crushes Rangers 3-0 – Video Highlights
Arsenal took an early lead with a goal from Jack Wilshere in the 2nd minute as the home team came out very aggressive. Rangers seemed unable to match the intensity from Arsenal at the start and things got even worse in the 11th minute when Eduardo scored to make it 2-0. With a solid lead and home crowd Arsenal looked to be in complete control of the match by the middle of the 1st half. The second half saw Rangers get some chances but still unable to score any goals. Even though their play picked up in the 2nd half, Arsenal was able to add another goal from Wilshere in the 72nd minute. Overall the Gunners looked in good form at home and easily won the Emirates Cup with their victory today and yesterday.
Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain draw 1-1 – Video Highlights
Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid played to a draw as neither team failed to earn a win in the Emirates Cup. Madrid took the lead late in the first half with a goal from Aguero (penalty) in the 41st minute. Paris Saint-Germain would respond in the second half with a goal from Giuly in the 71st minute. The match would end at 1-1 as neither team was able to score a goal in the 15-20 minutes of the match.
