The English Premier League continued it 2009-10 season with a full weekend of matches. On Saturday August 30, 2009 there were seven matches inlcuding Manchester United v Arsenal, Bolton v Liverpool, Chelsea v Burnley, and Tottenham v Birmingham. English Premier League Recap – Saturday August 30, 2009
Manchester United defeated Arsenal in biggest match of the weekend while Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur continued their hot start. Other teams winning were Liverpool and Stoke City. Overall, there weren’t too many surprises as most of the favorites won on Saturday in the Premiership. Draws between West Ham v Blackburn and Wolverhampton v Hull City were not surpsises as the teams were evenly matched.
