FC Barcelona wrapped up their preseason tour of the United States with a match against Mexican club Chivas de Guadalajara. The tour has been highly successful as they’ve sold out each match they’ve been apart of including over 90,000 against the Galaxy and over 60,000 against the Sounders. FC Barcelona draws with Chivas 1-1 in friendly – Video Highlights
Barcelona remained unbeaten in their preseason tour of the USA but could only manage a 1-1 draw on Saturday against Chivas. The first half was scoreless as both teams made many changes heading into the second half. Barca outshot Chivas on the night but couldn’t convert many of their chances. Chivas took the lead early in the second half on a goal from Ramon Morales in the 50th minute. About 15 minutes later, Barcelona responded with a goal from Bojan Krkic to tie the match at 1-1. It would end with the same scoreline but Chivas nearly had another late in the match as a shot hit the post.
