Man United won a close match on a late goal to remain perfect in the group stage. The goal came from Antonio Valencia in the 86th minute. The goal came from a header pass to Valencia and he shot from a poor angle but still managed to beat the goalkeeper.
It was a tough road win for Man U and disappointment for CSKA who were only a few minutes away from getting at least a draw. Man U were the better team most of the night, having more possession and shots on goal. They now have 9 points in the group stage and well on their way to the knockout stage. CSKA has 3 points and had some work left if they want to advance.
