The FIFA World Rankings year end rankings have been released with little change as Spain is 1st followed closely by Brazil in 2nd. The rest of the rankings have not changed much as the FIFA 2010 World Cup Qualifying matches finished in November. The United States remains in 14th place while England is in 9th place.
Some of the teams making the biggest moves up are Egypt (up 5 spots), Ghana (up 3 spots), while Romania (down 4 spots) and Bulgaria (down 3 spots) have dropped the most in the top 50. Below are the rankings for the top 50 and the full rankings can be viewed at FIFA’s official ranking website here.
