The UEFA Europa League begins its knockout stage (round of 32) with the first legs on Thursday, February 18, 2010. Many of the favorites remain in the draw including Shakhtar Donetsk as well as some new teams who suffered disappointments in the Champions League (most noticably Liverpool). While not as prestigious as the Champions League, the Europa League is a chance for smaller clubs to acheive European success. The second legs will take place next week
